About

Hi, I’m San, an engineer and artist who loves animals, plants, and creating things by hand. My work is inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the kind of simple beauty that helps you slow down and breathe.

I started painting during one of the hardest seasons of my life, after losing my Mom. What began as a way to process grief slowly became a source of peace, reflection, and grounding. Art helped me find light again when everything felt heavy, and that experience shapes every piece I create today.

Healing Through Art

For me, art is more than something to look at. It’s something to feel. Painting gives me space to pause, to let color and water move together, and to remember that not everything needs to be controlled. There’s freedom and calm in each brushstroke, and that same energy is what I hope others feel when they see or hold one of my pieces.

Each painting and handmade card is created slowly and intentionally, with the same care I put into tending my garden or raising a seedling into bloom. Every layer and every bit of texture carries an intention to bring warmth, comfort, and stillness into someone’s day.

My Process

I paint intuitively, layering watercolor and gouache until a piece feels balanced and alive. I love soft neutrals, natural light, and organic textures that reflect the outdoors. Each artwork is sealed, signed, and packaged with care, ready to bring a sense of calm to its new home.

What I’m About

I believe in slowing down, creating with intention, and finding beauty in everyday life. My studio values are simple: kindness, curiosity, and connection. Whether it’s a painting for your wall or a hand-painted card sent to someone you love, my hope is that it makes you pause, even for a moment, and feel something gentle and true.

Do you take commissions?

Sometimes! I take on a few simple commissions each season, usually nature-inspired pieces, botanicals, or landscapes that fit my current style. If you have something in mind, please visit the Contact page to share your idea, size, and timing.

How long does it take to ship?

Most handmade greeting cards and original paintings ship within 5 to 7 business days. Since each piece is made or finished to order, I take care to make sure everything arrives beautifully packaged and protected.

Soon!

Can I request a custom card design?

Small customizations are sometimes available, such as a personalized message, different color palette, or floral variation. Visit the Contact page to ask about current options.

Not at this time. All orders are shipped securely, and each item is packed with care to ensure it arrives safely.

What materials do you use?

I mostly paint with professional watercolor and gouache on 100% cotton paper. Gold leaf and metallic accents are used sparingly to highlight light and texture.
